The Origin: From Syntax to Start-Up
Our journey began in 2012, when Kevin left a career in academia to bridge the gap between global innovation and the Maltese market.
- The Smart Home Pioneer: We were the first to introduce smart video doorbells to the island (via SmartDoorbellsMalta), modernizing Maltese home security before “IoT” was a buzzword.
- The Media Evolution: We led the transition of home entertainment, importing early-stage TV boxes to convert standard televisions into Smart TVs.
- The Maritime Edge: We expanded into high-end leisure with Malta Sailing Yacht Charters, offering exclusive experiences on our racing yacht, Dimm.
The E-Mobility Authority
Seven years ago, we identified a critical gap in the transport sector. Electric scooters were appearing in cities, but no one in Malta knew how to maintain them.
We became the first.
Kevin personally learned the intricate mechanics of e-scooter repair, becoming the first qualified technician on the island. We didn’t just import scooters; we took them apart, understood them, and improved them.
Today, Techboss is the gold standard for e-mobility in Malta.
